Knit out of the wonderfully drapey Zealana Ora Kiwi laceweight, this star stitch beret is a lovely lightweight topper to add to your wardrobe. I am so pleased that it was included in the latest Knitscene Accessories 2012. It is amazing to see something I made in a magazine.

I am having s very difficult time knit this.are the knitted stitches after removing the marker counted?
The star stitch is counted as worked over 3 stitches. Is the 4th stitch the k1?
